Terms of Use and Membership
These terms form the agreement between a user and the Australian business operating Healthcare Notes for use of healthcarenotes.org, Healthcare Notes accounts and subscribed modules.
Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account, purchasing a membership, accepting a group seat or using protected modules, you agree to these terms and the linked policies. If you act for an organisation, you confirm authority to bind it.
Individual professional tools are intended for nursing students, graduate nurses, enrolled nurses, registered nurses, nurse leaders, educators and related health professionals who can understand the clinical limits. Users under 18 require lawful authority and any required guardian consent.
What Healthcare Notes provides
Healthcare Notes provides professional education, structured nursing-documentation support, ward orientation, test education and shift-management tools according to the purchased tier.
Features and content may be improved, corrected, replaced or withdrawn for safety, accuracy, legal or operational reasons. A change will not remove consumer guarantees that apply by law.
Account responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and keep your email and password secure.
- Use only your own named account or a seat formally assigned to you.
- Notify maxillarvundi@gmail.com promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
- Do not share, sell, sublicense, scrape or automate access to protected content.
- Do not enter patient identifiers or upload confidential employer material without written authority.
- Review all generated text before it is copied into any approved clinical record.
- Comply with law, professional standards, scope of practice, current orders and local policy.
Clinical and employment independence
Healthcare Notes does not employ, credential, supervise or authorise a user to practise. Membership does not prove competence, registration, mandatory training or employer approval.
Hospital names are used for navigation or descriptive local packs. Unless expressly stated in a written agreement, Healthcare Notes is not affiliated with, endorsed by or integrated into that hospital or health service.
Membership, renewal and cancellation
Paid memberships renew automatically at the displayed monthly or annual interval until cancelled. The checkout page identifies the plan, billing interval, amount and applicable tax before payment.
Members can manage payment methods, invoices, eligible individual plan changes and cancellation through the Stripe Customer Portal. Group-tier or seat-limit changes require Healthcare Notes sales or support so seat assignments and commercial terms can be reconciled. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless law or a written group agreement requires otherwise.
Intellectual property and licence
Healthcare Notes and its licensors retain ownership of the website, software, visual systems, content selection, original teaching material and branding. A paid membership grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use included material for the member’s own learning and professional work during entitlement.
A user may copy a nurse-authored note they create with the Dashboard into an employer-approved record. This does not grant a right to reproduce the Healthcare Notes word bank, course library or ward packs as a competing resource.
Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted for payment failure, material breach, unlawful conduct, credential sharing, security risk, harmful misuse or interference with the service. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy. Immediate restriction may occur where necessary to protect users, systems or clinical safety.
Termination does not remove accrued payment obligations, lawful rights or provisions intended to continue, including intellectual-property, liability and dispute clauses.
Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Healthcare Notes is not liable for decisions made without appropriate assessment, for use contrary to local policy or scope, for user-entered inaccuracies, or for indirect loss not reasonably foreseeable from the supplied digital service.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Western Australia, Australia, subject to mandatory consumer protections and jurisdictional rights. Before commencing formal proceedings, parties should attempt good-faith resolution under the Complaints and Feedback Policy.
